India Tigers & STREETS

11 DAYS | €5997 | COMFORT SERIES | GROUP MAX 10

11 Days | From €5997 Twin Share

At TRVL° we’ve spent years crafting photography adventures that go beyond the ordinary. In 2026, we refined this India experience to a new level, shaping every detail from wildlife to culture to landscapes. Now we’re ready to return in 2028 for another incredible adventure.

This trip focuses on three elements: wildlife, culture, and the streets.

We begin with two days in Delhi, capturing the energy of street life and daily moments. From there, we visit Agra for a full day, then continue to Ranthambore National Park with extra time to photograph Bengal tigers, sloth bears, Indian leopards, and more in the wild. Few experiences are as powerful or humbling.

Next, we spend two days in Jaipur, blending street photography with stunning architecture and vibrant scenes, before returning to Delhi.

From there, an optional Himalaya add-on takes us far north to photograph the world’s highest mountains. This final stage offers a quiet, powerful contrast to the cities and wildlife already experienced.

With the experience of 2026 behind us, 2028 will be the best version yet. Join us in India and become part of the TRVL° Photography community.

Itinerary - Main Tour

Day 1: Welcome to India! Arrival in New Delhi, transfer to the hotel, and meet the group. We’ll have an official Welcome Meeting with our TRVL° and local ops team followed by the first Indian dinner feast.
Day 2: Explore the bustling Chandni Chowk district for street photography before taking a rickshaw ride towards the Red Fort. This first day provides an immersive introduction to the colours, characters and energy of India, with plenty of opportunities to photograph the vibrant streets of Old Delhi.
Day 3: Leave Delhi and drive approximately five hours to Agra. After checking into the hotel, enjoy a relaxed afternoon and your first glimpse of the Taj Mahal from the hotel’s rooftop bar, with time to unwind after the journey.
Day 4: Start early with a sunrise photography session overlooking the Taj Mahal from across the Yamuna River, before entering the monument itself to explore the gardens and capture a variety of architectural perspectives. After breakfast, continue by road towards Ranthambhore National Park and settle into the lodge.
Day 5 through 7: Spend the next three full days exploring Ranthambhore National Park on both morning and afternoon wildlife safaris. We’ll be searching for Bengal tigers, sloth bears, Indian leopards, and even more in the amazing wilderness that is Ranthambhore. With private jeeps and drivers reserved exclusively for the group, there will be plenty of space and flexibility for photography.
Day 8: Leave Ranthambhore after breakfast and drive approximately four hours to Jaipur. Check into the hotel and enjoy a relaxed remainder of the day before beginning our photography exploration of the Pink City.
Day 9: Begin with sunrise photography at Panna Meena ka Kund, capturing the geometric lines and symmetry of the historic stepwell before continuing to nearby Amer Fort for golden sandstone architecture and expansive courtyard perspectives. During the afternoon, explore the streets of the old walled city around Johari Bazaar or Chandpole Bazaar, looking for vendors, artisans and everyday street life. Finish the day at Nahargarh Fort, photographing panoramic views over Jaipur as the city lights begin to glow.
Day 10: Start the morning with a safari in Jhalana Leopard Reserve before photographing the iconic Hawa Mahal from street level or a nearby rooftop. Continue through Badi Choupad and the surrounding old city, photographing vendors, commuters and the everyday rhythm of Jaipur. Later, explore the ornate courtyards and architecture of the City Palace, including its famous Peacock Gate. Finish with golden-hour photography at Patrika Gate, where colourful Rajasthani murals and elaborate architecture create a spectacular setting as the afternoon light fades.
Day 11: Depart Jaipur early for the approximately five-hour journey back to Delhi International Airport. This is our official departure day, and you are welcome to book your onward flight anytime after 15:00. For those who prefer to stay an additional night, we can easily arrange accommodation at the same airport hotel where the tour begins, giving you a relaxed final evening with time to review photographs, edit images or explore Delhi independently.

Add-on Itinerary

Day 1: Fly from Delhi to Ladakh, where the adventure begins at high altitude. After arriving, transfer to the hotel and spend the remainder of the day resting and acclimatising to the altitude. This is an important first day to take things slowly, allowing your body time to adjust before we begin exploring the dramatic landscapes of Ladakh.
Day 2: After breakfast, head out from Leh into the spectacular Sham Valley. Visit the Hall of Fame, a museum and memorial showcasing Ladakh’s military history and culture, before continuing to Gurudwara Patthar Sahib at approximately 3,600 metres above sea level. From there, visit the famous Magnetic Hill before reaching the dramatic confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers, where two great rivers meet against a backdrop of rugged Himalayan landscapes. Return to Leh in the afternoon with time to relax and continue acclimatising to the altitude.
Day 3: Leave Leh behind and journey into the spectacular Nubra Valley, crossing the legendary Khardung La at approximately 5,602 metres (18,390 ft) above sea level. One of the highest motorable mountain passes in the world, the route offers breathtaking views across the rugged Himalayan landscape. Continue into Nubra Valley and visit the impressive Diskit Monastery before heading to Hunder, where sweeping sand dunes sit dramatically between towering mountains. Here, enjoy a unique experience riding Bactrian camels through the high-altitude desert before settling into the valley for the evening.
Day 4: Set out early after breakfast for the spectacular journey from Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso, travelling through the remote Agham and Shyok Valleys. The route winds through dramatic mountain scenery as we pass Durbuk and Tangtse before the landscape suddenly opens up to reveal the brilliant blue waters of Pangong Lake at approximately 4,267 metres (14,000 ft) above sea level. After settling in beside the lake, enjoy the peaceful surroundings and, weather permitting, head out after dark for an evening of astrophotography beneath the clear Himalayan skies.
Day 5: Enjoy a relaxed morning beside the shores of Pangong Lake, with time to photograph the dramatic landscapes and changing light before continuing deeper into the remote landscapes of Ladakh. Drive to Hanle, a small and isolated village renowned for its exceptionally clear, dark skies and considered one of the best locations in the region for astrophotography. After arriving and settling in, prepare for an unforgettable night beneath the stars, with the Milky Way and countless constellations stretching across the Himalayan sky.
Day 6: Rise early for a sunrise photography session in Hanle, capturing the first light as it spills across the remote Himalayan landscape. After breakfast, begin the scenic drive back to Leh, retracing the spectacular mountain roads through the high-altitude desert. Once back in Leh, enjoy a relaxed afternoon and evening to rest, recharge and review your images after several days of exploring the remote corners of Ladakh.
Day 7: Enjoy a final morning in Leh before departing for Delhi on your flight back to the capital. Upon arrival, transfer to Delhi International Airport, where the tour officially comes to an end. You are welcome to book your onward flight home anytime after 15:00 on April 17th, 2028, allowing plenty of time for the journey from Leh and your airport connection.

Will there be a local photographer?

Yes. We are working with a local Indian company that specialises in wildlife and travel photography. An English speaking local photography guide will accompany us throughout the trip. This will likely be the same guide who worked with us in 2026, and he is excellent at what he does.

One of the goals of TRVL° is to empower the local photography community. We aim to involve these partners in all our trips worldwide. We dedicate significant time to researching and connecting with the best local operators for our specific needs.

TRVL° Trip Style

Comfortable Adventure: The TRVL° Photography Comfort Series blends discovery with ease, offering journeys that immerse photographers in inspiring destinations without sacrificing rest or relaxation. These trips are designed for those who seek meaningful adventure with a gentler edge. Capturing remarkable stories while enjoying comfortable accommodations, smooth travel, and a pace that prioritises both creativity and comfort.

How is the Accommodation?
The accommodation in India is actually very good. You can expect a very high standard of both comfort and service.  Most of the accommodation falls in the 4-star category.

Fitness Level 2 – Moderate: Expect plenty of walking and time on your feet, particularly while exploring cities and photographing in the streets. There is no hiking or seriously strenuous activity involved, although some days may be hot and there will be a few longer drives. Transport is comfortable, and the physical demands are generally manageable for most people. The main additional consideration is the high altitude on the Himalaya add-on adventure.

Previous Testimonials

"This is the type of travel I really enjoy. TRVL° focuses on the photography experience more so than a traditional travel company. The object is to take great photos in unique settings, not hangout with the typical tourist. Greg and Brendan both know what serious photographers want and take us there."

What is TRVL° All About?

In short, the motto is simple: “Explore. Adventure. Capture.”

At its core, TRVL° is built around travel photography, with every itinerary thoughtfully designed to create strong photographic opportunities while also encouraging real connection with the places we visit. You will come away with compelling images, but more importantly, with meaningful experiences, lasting memories, and stories that go far beyond the frame. We focus on stepping into the unknown, discovering new places, and building a genuine connection with the world around you.

TRVL° is not a traditional photography workshop, and that is intentional. Our journeys balance guided photography moments with space for independent exploration, creativity, and discovery, allowing photography to become both a creative tool and a way of engaging more deeply with each destination. We work closely with local photographers, tour operators, and guides to support and uplift the communities we visit, creating authentic cultural connections for our participants. If this resonates with you, you’re in the right place.
